Book Binding Class
Hey!
Just recently took a book binding class by Mary Ann Moss http://dispatchfromla.typepad.com/dispatch_from_la/full-tilt-boogie-an-online-visual-journaling-class.html
and she is by-far the BEST teacher in regards to this book binding class. I've made probably 6 plus books within the past two weeks. Here are some peeks - enjoy!
Until next time ... keep creating and sharing

Valance out of fabric strips
I needed a valance over my art area and this is what I came up with - had all this extra fabric and just starting tearing it into strips.
I just love it!

Gift for mom
I decided Saturday monring to make a little something for my mom for her birthday - as an additional little gift. We had already celebrated her birthday weeks ago, but it's a tradition that me, my cousin, aunt and mom get together for our birthdays separately. We went to Neiman Marcus, Fashion Island for lunch and it was so good. What a wonderful place to have lunch, classy, quiet and just perfect in so many ways.
Below is the doll I painted for her on canvas (first time using canvas)
Enjoy the process.
Mom and her best friend Aunt Loree at lunch on Saturday
Finished - isn't her face so so sweet?

I want to do this
I love this!! I have an old metal desk that I use for my crafts and I think that this would be so cute and fun to throw all these flowers onto it. This would make a great "spring" project.

On Sundays I am going to start sharing and / or promoting different artist, designers, writers, and photographers. Check back each Sunday for a bit of inspiration.
These boho chic bracelets are by Kecia Deveney of Lemoncholy, they were in the fall issue of "boho" magazine. I just love them! Anything with a bohemian feel I want. I would like to try to make one of these bracelets myself but I say that about everything - lol. Visit Kecia's blog when you can, she makes very cool jewelry.
I found these bracelets in the fall issue of boho magazine you will find their site here. Enjoy your Sunday, I'm off to enjoy mine.
